I can't say that I'm surprised that it's revealed that Muslim Imams are lying and spreading fake propaganda in the Muslim world. After all, the Christian Church did it for centuries in our part of the world, the Catholic church are killing thousands of people every year by lying about contraception and certain Christian coalitions are trying, and in some cases even succeeding, to censor things that they don't like or find offensive. At least the Muslim world can excuse them selves by saying that they are almost seven hundred years behind us, but the Christians can not. More -->

Sorry for being so quiet here in the past two weeks, but most of my time has been occupied by the local revue which we performed from Thursday up until yesterday afternoon. And I'm pleased to say it was a big success. Over 2000 people came to see us, spread over five shows, and the reviews and feedback were almost unanimously positive. It's always nice to feel that a whole year of work has been worth it. I've been involved with the writing, acting and some of the behind-the-scenes-work. This year, though, I managed to distance myself from all the things I normally stick my nose in to and concentrate on the writing and my own performance in stead of everything I'm used to taking care of when it comes to this kind of show.

This year I can sum up the whole experience as wonderful, crazy, annoying, fun, dull, flirty and perfect.

Wonderful: The writing team I've been a part of has been great. We've been feeding off each other, been feeding each other, taking each others ideas and expanded them or cut them in half, supported one another, made fun of one another and pretty much functioned as a writing team should function.

Crazy: Some insane ideas have been flying around and some were even used. And if anyone peeked in on us while were made this show, they would have thought us crazy. Not to mention me falling through the stage with the scars to prove it.

Annoying: At times tensions are flying high and creative arguments can go overboard and become personal. Sometimes you get sick of certain people, and others get sick of you. Some suffer the usual complaints from offspring and the significant other about all the time that's spent on this. And of course it's always sad to see your favorite number being cut.

Fun: We've had lots of laughs and we've enjoyed what we've been doing.

Dull: There were too many actors this year, so some people got very little to do on stage. And it's dull to spend a lot of time just hanging around waiting for you to do your four minutes.

Flirty: Sometimes you just have this wonderul chemistry with people, and you can flirt freely without there being any hidden agendas behind it.

Perfect: This is what a local revue should be like. We were very current when it came to the topics we touched upon, people liked it and most important of all, we were very local.

See you all again in two years, and the writing team in about a year.
